Hooks and Eyes in Art Space ALARM

On the walls are ivy, weeping willows and foxgloves. Algae and seaweed crawl on the floor.
Ropes, crocheted wool, silk threads, buttons, ribbons and ceramic objects populate the space in a meandering fashion, either climbing laboriously but steadily upwards or hanging heavily and lazily downwards.

The world behind the things in the Museum of All Times.

Ceramic tiles in balance, people & things. The eyes do not see what is happening behind them, yet scenes are taking place there, unsuspecting or are there suspicions? In any case, they have to live with it. And knowing or not knowing, it strengthens the fragile balance of man.

Work on the textile forest in ALARM together with artist Carin Unverzagt, at a large specially decorated table. Come and watch or join us and perhaps you will work on something or drink or eat something and have a conversation, listen to music or make small performances that we will record on film or photo.

The exhibition is from Thursday 1 May to Sunday 29 June.

During the month of May, the exhibition can be viewed every Thursday to Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on other days by appointment, mail@ansverdijk.com or carinunverzagt@gmail.com
